Description
The color Red couldn't be more symbolic for the Italian lifestyle: Ferrari, Campari, tomatoes and Amore.
And of course Italy's most famous cocktail: Negroni.
Legend has it that in 1919 Count Camillo Negroni asked his friend, bartender Forsco Scarselli at Caffè Casoni (now Caffè Giacosa) in Florence to strengthen his favorite cocktail - the Americano - by replacing soda water with gin, and the drink took it' s course. It didn't take long for everyone to come down to the bar for a Negroni.
Camillo Negroni himself traveled around America in his twenties and lived the life of a cowboy for a time. He also resided at Gin Capital London which led to him creating one of the most iconic cocktails of all time.
